What is Kairos?

Kairos is a church administration system built for Kharis Church. It replaces spreadsheets, WhatsApp threads, and disconnected tools with a single platform that every role in the church can use — from a first-time member to a church administrator managing multiple branches.

The problem it solves

Running a multi-branch church creates real data problems: member records scattered across branches, no visibility into who is following up new souls, no easy way to see which departments need attention, and no audit trail for approvals. Kairos brings all of that into one place.

"Let all things be done decently and in order." — 1 Corinthians 14:40

That's the design principle behind Kairos.

What makes it different

Role-aware by default. Every page, every action, every data point is filtered to what you're actually responsible for. A fellowship leader sees their fellowship. A pastor sees their branch. An admin sees everything.

One login, everything in context. There's no "select your role" step after logging in. Your permissions are built into your token when you sign in. The UI shows exactly what your role allows — nothing more, nothing less.

Branch isolation is built in. Data never leaks across branches by accident. A pastor in London cannot see member records from Accra. Admins have explicit cross-branch access.

The church it's built for

Kairos is designed around Kharis Church's structure:

  • Multiple branches across different countries (UK, Ghana, Sierra Leone)
  • Branches grouped into geographic regions
  • Each branch has its own pastor, departments, and fellowships
  • Members can attend any branch but have a home branch
  • A small admin team manages the whole network
